Momma's Little Helper

She slows me down but 1 it's nice to have a little helper and 2 I hate bending over to get the wash out so it's a bonus!

She's so smart & funny these days... but she's also hit her terrible 2's a few weeks early.

A couple weeks ago her Daddy and her were taking a trip to Fargo and started a new game calling out the color of the cars they were seeing. We've been teaching colors for awhile and well it's hit & miss depending on the day. The other morning day Mr.Gearhead* and her were playing with her 15+ Matchbox cars and he said, "what color is that car on the table?" She looks at the car and says, "Cheese." The car was yellow... the color of cheese.

Last night we were reading books before bedtime, and we were asking her questions about the pictures in the book. So I asked "what's on the baby's butt?" and she paused and then said, "poop?" LOL, It was a picture of a baby in a diaper and of course I was looking for her to say diaper... but her response was hilarious!

Early Birthday

A birthday cake for Lulu, she liked the candle but can't blow hard enough to extinguish a flame yet.

Oh the cake looks good, making her happy.

Turns out the cake chunks in her milk and then drank is better than using a fork.

Lulu started opening up presents... she's really quick!

The first box was the shoes on her feet, this second box was some shoes also. When she opened the box she said gasping, "ah SHOES!"

Lulu loves to be outside, and I can't wait until Leo can play with her even though she is good at playing alone... or rather with her Bear. Although the dog, cat & chickies are good company.

Our new front screen door, it was only sitting on the porch since November. It was well worth the wait!

This trip was the first time Lulu has been on a big girl swing. It didn't last long, I think it was a little scary. She also calls her uncles by name, it's pretty darn cute.

As a reward for no more bottles and sleeping in a big girl bed we painted our nails the color of Lulu's choice and put a few decals on her nails too. She loved it!
