Budding Artist
Lulu's First Ceramic Masterpiece
It was about 2 months in the making when she started this trivet. We started when Hailey was baby sitting one night, and then last week while I was working on some pottery she wanted to paint some more. She climbs up in the chair and grabs a paint brush. By the end of this session I showed her how to paint her hand and slap some colors on the ceramic, she really loved that too. I pulled this out of the kiln this morning, I think it's wonderful! Now of course everytime we feed the furnace (wood in basement) she points to the studio and tries to make a break for a table with a chair and brushes. I am glad she likes the arts.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree... how pokey are your branches.
We picked out a tree that is blocking sun from the garden, and that was a little pokey to avoid little hands touching everything. This is the first Christmas that we had a real tree since having Lulu, and she helped with some of the ornaments.
Then she spent the night from 8 pm - 2pm vomiting. Glad the night ended, seemed to be bad food.

Enjoying Life
Up Past Bed Time...
I was updating my website last night after Lulu's bed time, and after about 40 minutes I heard "momma out now" repeatedly and so sweetly. So I went into her room where she was standing in her bed with her bear in hand... no dirty diaper, so we went to snuggle on the couch with some milk... and as you can see the "kitty"! She just thought that the cat sleeping with her was the bomb!
Doggie Tolerance...
I don't know how we could have a better dog that one that let's his little pal crawl all over him, just knowing how much pain he must have with arthritis and the 2 hind leg TPLO surgeries. We watch them closely to make sure she isn't on his knees. Oh the kisses and hugs the guys get from Lulu is enough to make me jealous! However, she does give great hugs these days!

Found... POCKETS!
After going through her closet and drawers I pulled all the 24 month sizes, and found that she has some slim pickings for 2T. Being WINTER in Minnesota I went to buy some sweats & sweat shirts for those days when stretch pants and sweaters aren't enough! I ended up shopping in the boys clothes but came out with some nice plain turtle necks, a pair of sweats, a fleece and this zipper hoodie. She found the pockets and just stood around watching her TV program with her hands in her pockets.
IKEA Rocks!
We went to IKEA on Black Friday! EEK, the traffic was horrid but it was all worth it for this table for Lulu. It's the same model I had when I had the pottery store, but I had sold those. Anyhow, it's light weight and most days she not only colors at the table but she likes to take her meals there! It's perfect!
