The weeks pass by so quickly that some days it seems I only get to spend 3-5 hours with my little girl. She's growing so fast. Every day that passes she gets more and more independant. She doesn't want help doing anything, these days. She started eating with spoons and forks a few weeks ago, and really being able to shovel the food into her mouth. Of course she's been really picky about food too, so it's been rough. I hate that she loves mac-n-cheese so much but it's my back up food. I just found out that she likes chicken pot pie, not so much the crust but the veggies and filling so maybe I will learn to make some homemade pot pies. She started drinking out of a big girl cup last week and there's no turning back. She'll take a sippy at day care though... oh and she'll only take a bottle at night! The latest problem besides wanting to be held only while I am standing up is that she no longer lets me brush her teeth.

Well off to hang with my Lulu, I think she's running a mild temperture. This would be her first.

She Loves It
One More Time
It's been a week of tantrums and boundary pushing for Little Lulu, and a big week of new rules and boundary setting for Mommy.
The past week when you ask Lulu, "What does the kitty say" or if she sees a cat she says "Ow" vs 'meow'
Our trip to Wisconsin was good, but the out of sync naps and meals were pretty hard.
New Baby has a 142 heartbeat.

Another Week Passes

The Orb of Silence
She can push the button on her own, and we're all happy about that.
Lulu Loves Shoes
She pushed the box from her room to the living room. Then she digs out the pair (matching mind you) and sits down to put them on, or does the balancing on one leg to get her toes in.

Stacking Boxes
I stack boxes for her and tell her what's inside them all the time, but I had never seen her stack them on her own! Gez, she's growing by leaps and bounds. Stacking, boxes, feeding herself with utencils (right handed), and putting shapes into those shape boxes.

Daddy Watching
It doesn't matter what he's doing she gets to any window to watch him, and she chatters to him. Although she's calling him Momma too sometimes.

Bear Kisses
This is her current favorite stuffed animal, but she likes anything soft and squishy.
She's growing so fast.
